Henry Cavill is set to join Tom Cruise in Paramount and Skydance’s next installment in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise.

Man Of Steel’s Henry Cavill has officially been cast in Paramount’s upcoming sequel Mission: Impossible 6. The whole deal was seemingly orchestrated via Instagram, in a cutesy question from director Christopher McQuarrie asking if Cavill would want to hop on over into his movie: “Say, @henrycavill. Had a thought. Curious if you’re interested in a role in the 6th installment of Mission: Impossible. No pressure.”

Cavill then asked how he could refuse a man with such good hair. The director then made sure the star would know what was expected of him if he took up a role.
“Just a few caveats: must enjoy extreme heights, high speeds, motor vehicles of all varieties (especially aircraft), practical stunts, firearms, and sporadic exposition. All good?”
Naturally, Cavill was chill with the requirements. “Oh ok…..I’m in!”
